Alvinston hosts Silver stick this weekend

The regional Silver Stick hockey season continues in Sarnia-Lambton this week with the under-11’s competing in three divisions with games in Alvinston and Watford.
Local and area teams competing include Petrolia, Mooretown, Lambton Shores, Sarnia, Dresden and the host East Lambton Eagles. Games begin on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. The finals are set for Sunday afternoon. The Roy Caley Silver Stick opens Dec. 12.
The first Silver Stick event in Lambton of the year took place in Sarnia over the weekend. Don Mills beat the Toronto Marlboros in the title game. The Lambton Junior Sting U11s had a tie in the first game of the event, but lost to Niagara,
