Preds win U15-1 Silver Stick

The Lambton Shores Predators are taking home another Silver Stick title from the Roy Caley tournament.
The U15 team won the Tier 1 championship game against South Huron.
The Predators beat Mooretown 4-0 in the semis to claim their spot in the final.
In the final, the Preds scored on a power play in the first period and then hit what turned out to be the game-winning goal in with 2.12 left in the second period. Lambton Shores scored two more in the third to ice the 4-1 victory.
This is the second title the Predators claimed at the Caley tournament. The U13 team claimed the Tier 1 title last weekend.
Meantime, East Lambton earned its berth into the U15 Tier 2 title game with a 3-0 win over Wallaceburg Sunday morning. The Eagles were taking on Ayr in the final. The score was not available at press time.
