Big crowds take in Petrolia’s Canada Day finale

Twenty teams in three divisions play on the ice until Tuesday

The 57th Annual Earle Trevail Memorial Petrolia Regional U18 Hockey Tournament begins Saturday.
Petrolia plays in the U18 B1 division this year against Lambton Shores, Mooretown and South Kent. The Oilers first game is at 12:30 pm Saturday against South Kent. They’ll suit up against long-time The Mooretown Flags at 6:30 pm for the featured tilt. The opening ceremonies will be held at 8 pm Saturday.
The East Lambton Eagles and Dresden Jr Kings are in the U18 B2 division which has six competitors. The U18 B1 has 10 competitors.
This year, champions from each division will move on to the International Silver Stick Finals with A Division Champions representing Petrolia in Sarnia and B1 & B2 Champions representing Petrolia in Forest
