One person injured in accident at Bluewater Bridge

January 7, 2026

One person has been injured in an accident at the Bluewater Bridge.

Point Edward firefighters and Lambton OPP were called to the toll booths on the Canadian side around 8 am Wednesday for a collision and found one person with life threatening injuries.

Lambton OPP was on the scene investigating. Officials said to expect significant delays on Highway 402 westbound entering the US. The 402 is down to one lane.
