More accidents and clean up after Lambton’s winter storm

Black ice was causing some problems on Highway 402 this morning.
Drivers report multiple transport trucks hit the ditch beween the Nauvoo Road and Kerwood exit heading eastbound. OPP were not immediately available to say whether anyone was injured in the incident which backed up traffic heading toward London.

Meantime Highway 21 at Kettle Point was closed heading south this afternoon as a transport truck was pulled from the ditch.
Warwick Fire Service says Nauvoo Road from Confederation to Highway 402 was closed for a couple of hours this morning as a transport was removed from the ditch there as well.
There are still signs of Thursday’s nasty weather along Oil Heritage Line as well, where a tandam transport was lodged in the ditch near Edys Mills.
Environment Canada says there is a small change of flurries in the area over the weekend.
