London area man faces charges after crash

An London area man is facing charges following a two-vehicle collision in Sarnia.
Feb. 2 shortly after 5 pm, Lambton OPP responded to a collision at the intersection of Modeland Road at Wellington Street in Sarnia, where one driver failed to remain at the scene.
There were no injuries reported.
Police arrested a 48-year-old of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Failure to stop after accident
The driver’s licence was also supended for 90 days and his car was impounded for seven days as required by Ontario law.
