Leamington man charged with assault with a weapon after pepper spray used

Lambton OPP have charged a Leamington man after a dust up at a truck stop in Reece’s Corners where another person was pepper sprayed.
Lambton OPP were called to the rest area on Highway 402 westbound Feb. 9, just after 9:15 pm.
Police said there was a disturbance with two people where minor injuries were reported. Pepper spray had been deployed during the incident.
A 48-year-old Leamington man has been charged with assault with a weapon.
He’s in court March 5.
