Over 260 kilograms of meth seized at Bluewater Bridge

Customs officers at the Bluewater Bridge in Point Edward have seized 16 duffle bags of methamphetamine.
Feb. 4, a commercial truck arriving at the bridge was searched by border services officers and a detector dog and found the 16 bags containing 266.4 kilograms of methamphetamine.
Kulbir Singh, 29, of Woodstock was arrested and turned over to the RCMP. He’s charged with importation of methamphetamine and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Since January 2025, border officials say 616.5 kilograms of methamphetamine has been seized at southern Ontario borders with the United States.
