Sting/Knights split weekend games

The runway is getting short for the Sarnia Sting as they try to chase down the final playoff spot in the OHL’s Western Conference.
Sarnia remains six points from a postseason berth after a split of games last weekend.
After a 6-3 loss at the Soo Feb. 20, Matthew Manza recorded his first career OHL hat trick and added two assists to lead Sarnia to a 7-4 win over the Spirit in Saginaw Feb. 21.
Sarnia entertains a pair of Eastern Conference foes this weekend.
They host Barrie on Friday when Sarnia will induct Matt Martin into the Sting Hall of Fame.
The Sting welcomes the Ottawa 67’s on Sunday afternoon.
Sarnia only has ten games remaining in the regular season.
Meantime, London remains three points behind the Greyhounds for the fourth seed in the conference playoffs after losing to Barrie and beating Sudbury over the weekend.
The London Knights are home to the Windsor Spitfires Friday night before road games in Brampton against the Steelheads and Kitchener Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
