Brooke-Alvinston looks at Petrolia Line fix this year

March 30, 2026

The Independent

Brooke-Alvinston Councillor Craig Sanders says its time to fix Petrolia Line the right way.

Petrolia Line from Nauvoo to Sexton Road is part of the municipality’s road network. In the past few years, it has deteriorated with town staff constantly patching holes.

He wants to have staff get some prices ondoing the repairs this year. “I’d like take it out, make sure the gravel is good, and repave it in those areas, because if we don’t save those spots, someone’s going to get hurt.”

Council agreed to take a look at the area, asking the public works manager to investigate what could be done.
