Number one ranked Attack U18B’s headed to OWHA provincials

The Lambton Attack won the U18 division one championship at the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League Day of Champions.

The Attack, ranked number one in the province in its classification, blanked Lucan, 1-0 in the title game.

Julia Strevel scored the game-winning goal assisted by Peyton Hordyk.

Chloe Reid, fresh off an antique bronze with the LCCVI Lancers at OFSAA, earned the shutout making several key saves.

The Attack, who won the regular season banner with a record of 16-1-1, beat Ilderton and Woodstock in earlier playoff rounds to reach the final.

Lambton now heads to the OWHA provincials April 10-12.
