Parker Needham is the latest recruit to commit to the Lambton College baseball squad beginning this fall.

The pitcher and third baseman is an LCCVI student and alumni of the Wyoming Wranglers program.

“I’m super excited to be part of a good program,” said Needham in a statement on Monday.

“I’ve heard nothing but good things about the coaching and the guys on theteam, so I’m looking forward to it and meeting new people on the team.”

Needham, also a high school and U18 hockey goalie, is full of potential according to Lions head coach Al
Bezaire.

“We are excited to add yet another player from the small, local baseball factory of Wyoming,” said Bezaire.

“Parker comes very highly recommended from a handful of highly respected baseball people in our community.”

This off season, Needham has been working with former Cincinnati Reds farmhand Brett Gray of Wyoming to strengthen both his pitching and hitting abilities.

Bezaire recently attended one of their training sessions, saying he only needed to see a few pitches and a
few swings to see the potential that Needham had, and that he could help make the team stronger this season and in the long run.

Academically, he will be enrolled in the Border Services Program.

The Lions are seeking a medal three-peat at the OCAA baseball level this season.

Lambton won a bronze last year after collecting silver medals in 2024.
