Heat warning issued for Wednesday and Thursday
LCCVI reaching for provincial title

LCCVI’s Reach for the Top team is reaching for a provincial title.
The group which includes Emily Adams, Elijah Baines, Audrey Newman, Gueryn Mitchell, and Gavin Morgan is heading the provincial championship at the University of Toronto in early May.
Lewis Clegg, the Reach for the Top staff advisor, says LCCVI hosted three round robin tournaments in both the intermediate and senior divisions. Each game had three rounds of questions covering everything from pop culture, history, math, and science.
The top four teams for qualified for the playoffs.
The senior LCCVI team beat Northern in the semi-finals and in the final defeated the first place Ursuline College Chatham Team, which had been undefeated.
The LCCVI team is preparing for the championship and is looking for donations to support the team’s costs. If you’re interested in helping out you can contact the school.
