It is 58 years and counting for the London Knights at the NHL draft.
When the Philadelphia Flyers selected hulking defenceman Maksim Sokolovski with the 27th pick on Friday night it marked 58 straight years that the Knights have had at least one player chosen in the annual proceeding.
The Hunter brother-led team has also had two first -round picks in three of the last four seasons after Jaxon Cover was taken by the Ottawa Senators with the final pick in the first round Friday.
