It’s a homecoming for Nathan Reidhead.

The Wyoming native and Petrolia Oilers product has been dealt to the Petrolia Flyers from the Dresden Kings in an inter-divisional PJHL trade for Alvinston’s Joey Hayter.

Reidhead had 10 goals and 20 points in 39 games with the Kings as a rookie last season.

Hayter had 11 goals and 33 points in 43 games with Petrolia. It was his first season with the Flyers after playing the previous two campaigns with the Blades in Blenheim.

Meantime, Dresden has reacquired defenceman Ethan Waddick from the Blades for a player development fee.

Waddick played parts of two seasons with the Kings from 2021-23. He skated for the Sarnia Legionnaires in 2023-24.

Waddick had six goals and 30 points in 49 games last season with Blenheim.

In other news, the Legionnaires have released Kael Cooper to Burlington Cougars of the OJHL.
