But another search has begun – the third in four days in Lambton Shores – for a missing swimmer at Pinery Provincial Park.

Friday, just before 3 pm, Lambton OPP were called to Canal Street in Grand Bend after a 66 year-old fell into the Ausable River.

A little more than an hour later, the OPP were called to Pinery Provincial Park for another missing swimmer who was last seen in Lake Huron off the beach.

The Lambton OPP Marine Unit is searching, along with the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre.

The incidents come just four days after a 28-year old Scarborough man drown in the waters off Pinery Park beach. His body was recovered the next day.

There was also a drowning at Pinery on the Victoria Day weekend after a man from Nepal fell of a raft into the waters of Lake Huron. His body was found June 8 in Port Franks.
