Petrolia Flyers beef up roster heading into season opener

The Petrolia Flyers will ice a veteran team when they visit the Irish to open the 2026-27 PJHL season at Lucan on Saturday night at 8 p.m.

Over the past several days, the Flyers has announced the re-signing of Cam and Parker Davidson along with Mason
and Casey Guerette. They have also locked up returning players Ryan Nichols, Lucas Rogers, Logan O’Leary-Dilosa, Dylan Campbell, Joey Shaw, Rhett Joy, Isaac Truman, Miller Mailloux, Noel Sanderson, Logan Crummy and Jace McGrail.

In addition, Petrolia has signed Nathan Beer, Eric McDonald, Nate Reidhead, Michael Verberne, Miller Glenn and Ryder Brown.

Adam Craievich returns for a third season as head coach of the Flyers.

Petrolia, the highest scoring team in the conference last season, finished fourth in the tightly bunched Yeck Division with a record of 24-13. The eventual champions from Mt. Brydges eliminated the Flyers in the opening round of the
postseason.

Petrolia has road games next weekend against the Hawks and Bulldogs in Exeter and Mt. Brydges on Friday and
Saturday before hosting the Hawks in the Flyers home opener on Thursday, September 24 at the Greenwood Recreation Centre. Puck drop will be 7:30.
