The Sarnia Legionnaires begin a stretch of three games in three nights when they host the LaSalle Vipers at Pat Stapleton Arena on Thursday at 7 p.m.

The Vipers roster includes Sarnia’s Cameron Jolicoeur.

The power forward was a seventh-round pick by the Windsor Spitfires at the OHL draft in June.

Sarnia heads to St. Thomas to take on the Stars on Friday night and close out the weekend by hosting the Listowel Cyclones on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Legionnaires lost their season opener 5-1 to Komoka at Pat Stapleton Arena last Thursday night. They rode the goaltending of Sting prospect David Healy to keep things close for much of the contest.

It was Sarnia’s season opener after enduring a 0-50 campaign last season.

After a scoreless first period, the Kings struck first in the middle stanza to take a 1-0 advantage into the second intermission.

Michael Pavlovic’s goal early in the final frame tied the game but the Kings retook the lead 79 seconds later. Komoka iced the victory with a trio of goals, including a shorthanded tally and a power-play marker, in the final eight minutes.

Healy made 50 saves as Komoka outshot the home team, 55-26, including 24-9 in the third period.

Sarnia was 0-for-4 with the man advantage. Komoka went 1-for-7.

The Legionnaires added a pair of players to their lineup this week, signing Sting prospect Braydon Sisco and defenceman Ilya Gunko.

Sisco was signed by the Sting in June after spending the majority of the 2025-2026 season with the North Jersey Avalanche 16U squad where he put up 54 points in 26 games.

Gunko spent last season in the USPHL Premier with the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes.
