Fair weather for the Forest Fall Fair

The Forest Fall Fair was blessed with a weekend of good weather Sept. 25 to 27 and the crowds poured in.
Friday night, the midway was hopping as people waited for the fireworks display.
Saturday, Mason Jordan, 3, of Thedford was started by a small alpacha at the petting zoo.
The parade brought out the Forest Legion Pipeband, the Lambton Shores Predators hockey team, the Egg Farmers of Ontario and the Forest Museum. The North Lambton Secondary School Band was entertaining the crowd gathered for the Forest Fall Fair parade Saturday.
In the barns, Melissa Forbes and Addi Armstrong held Keep Dreaming as Vivian Forbes prepared her steer for the ring, below.
Equestrians took to the ring for show jumping
Atleigh Gibbons, 2, of Petrolia get some help from her mom, Melissa, to get up on her sister Stella’s pony. Stella was off claiming her third place prize.
Friday night, fireworks lit up the sky and attracted attention all around the fairgrounds.
