Overtime was not kind to the Mooretown Flags last week.
Despite Lucas Ross tying the game in the final minute of regulation time on Friday in Lakeshore, the Canadiens won the contest 4-3 at 2:08 of the fourth period.
Carson Crawford and Ty Therrien also scored for Mooretown. Nolan Bourdage and Thomas Browning McFeggen each had two assists. Brock Lane made 40 saves.
On Saturday at home, Ross and Mitchell Stack found the back of the net for the Flags but Wheatley won it 3-2 in extra time. Ciaron Guitton-Quayle made 23 stops in the Flags cage.
Mooretown travels to Dresden on Friday and is home against Amherstburg on Saturday. Both games are scheduled to start at 7:30 pm.
