Warwick Township has a new, much quieter Zamboni cleaning up at the East Lambton Community Complex.
The township took delivery of its first ever electric Zamboni recently.
The $150,000 machine was ordered in 2025 and the township waited two years for the order to be filled.
Parks and Recreation Manager Ryan Chamney says the electric Zamboni is a major step forward for the arena.
“The electric Zamboni will deliver reduced emissions, improve indoor air quality for players and spectators, quieter operation, superior ice quality, and greater energy efficiency,” Chamney said in a news release Monday.
The township also received an EV Ice Edger for the $150,000 price tag.
