The fund to renovate the Petrolia/North Enniskillen Fire Department building got a big boost.

Ron and Todd Clark presented a $10,000 donation to Fire Chief Rick Cousins, Enniskillen Township Deputy Mayor Judy Krall and Petrolia Mayor Brad Loosley Wednesday from the Clark Family Fund. The Clarks have been donating to local causes to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Ron Clark Motors.

The department is working on a $850,000 project to renovate the building including adding a decontamination room for firefighter equipment to be properly cleaned. Some of the exterior renovations are already underway but the complete project is expected to take until 2028.

In a social media post, fire officials thanked the family for the donation adding “it means a great deal to all of us to know that you believe in, and support the work we do in and around our community.”

Todd Clark presents St. Joseph’s Hospice Executive Director Kelly Chartrand with a $10,000 donation to the three bed rural hospice at Lambton Meadowview Villa with Petrolia Mayor Brad Loosley and Sarnia Community Foundation Executive Director Mike Barron Oct. 6, 2027.

It’s the second donation this week from The Clark Family fund. Tuesday, Todd Clark presented St. Joseph’s Hospice $10,000 to support the creation of a three-bed hospice at Lambton Meadowview Villa. It’s expected to open in the spring.
