Flags snap losing streak with a pair of weekend wins

Casey Schouten had a goal and three assists to lead the Mooretown Flags to a 5-1 win over Amherstburg in PJHL
action Saturday at the Moore Sports Complex.

The Flags are now 3-3-2 on the season.

Jack Baerg scored twice for the winners with the others going to Wes Robertson and Carson Crawford.

Jace Dupuis had three assists. Brock Lane made 32 stops.

Friday night in Dresden, Nolan Bourdage’s goal in the final minute of regulation time lifted Mooretown to a 5-4 win
over the Jr. Kings.

Lucas Ross, Crawford, Dupuis and Ben Grant with his first career PJHL tally also scored for the Flags.

Mooretown takes on the Blades in Blenheim Thursday and will entertain the Essex 73’s on Saturday at home.
