Flyers goaltender Brown posts first PJHL win

A trip to Aylmer Saturday will be a lifelong memory for Petrolia Flyers goaltender Ryder Brown.
He kicked out 44 shots for his first career PJHL victory backstopping the Flyers to a 6-3 win against the Spitfires.
Rhett Joy and Casey Guerette led the winners with a goal and an assist each.
Nathan Beer, Nathan Reidhead, Noel Sanderson and Ryan Nichols also scored for Petrolia who jumped out to a 5-0
lead midway through the second period.
Cam Davidson, who played in his 100th career regular season game with the Flyers last week, and Logan Crummy contributed a pair of assists.
The win followed a game that got away last Thursday on home ice.
Isaac Truman scored twice and Nichols had a goal and two assists as the Flyers jumped out to a 3-0 lead only to fall
4-3 to the North Middlesex Stars in overtime.
Davidson had two assists and Eric McDonald made 38 saves.
The Flyers are back on home ice against the Thamesford Trojans on Thursday night at 7:30.
They play the Bulldogs in Mt. Brydges on Saturday.
