More than 45,000 people spent time at the Brigden Fair on the Thanksgiving Weekend.

Dennis Robson of the Moore Agricultural Society, which hosts the fair, says 45,376 people came through the gates. Even Sunday, when rain threatened, there was a good crowd. “We had one family say they didn’t even have to open their umbrella until 4 o’clock,” he said.

Robson says the numbers are calculated using the at the gate ticket sales and midway receipts.

The society is cleaning up the fairgrounds Tuesday morning. And Saturday, the society hosts its annual Demolition Derby.

The theme for next year’s Brigden Fair has already been chosen; Moo-ving Forward Together.
