Man faces indecent act charges in Petrolia

A 21 year-old man faces a number charges after someone called OPP about a flasher near Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital.
Around 6 in the morning Aug. 29, police were called by a homeowner on Blanche St. about a man involved in an indecent act wearing very little clothing.
Police found the man immediately, but he fled on foot. Police, the Canine Unite and the Emergency Response Team tracked the man to a home on Chestnut Street and took him into custody.
A 21 year-old man of no fixed address is facing eight charges including escaping custody, possession of a methamphetamine, obstructing justice and committing an indecent act.
