Air ambulance called in to rescue hiker at Rock Glen

A climber had to be rescued after falling down an embankment in Rock Glen.
Lambton OPP and Lambton Paramedics were called to Rock Glen Road in Akrona around 7:30 Saturday night after someone called saying a hiker had fallen down an embankment.
Lambton Shores firefighters repelled down the embankment and pulled the hiker out of the area. The climber was taken to hospital by air ambulance with what police say are non-life threatening injuries.
The name of the person involved was not released.
