Forest Kiwanis hope a mandarin, apple and cucumber can raise some cash for Kineto

Transient camping opens at conservation areas in time for Canada Day
June 18, 2020
You will be able to camp close to home starting June 29.
The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority says transient camping will start at AW Campbell, Lorne C Henderson and Warwick Conservation Areas in time for the Canada Day weekend.
But officials say there will be limited to make sure campers are physical distancing. No group camping will be permitted this year.
If you had a site booked and it had been cancelled due to the pandemic, the conservation authority will contact you to re-book or offer a refund.
Swimming pools, canoe and kayak rentals and pavilion reservations have been cancelled for the duration of the 2020 season. Additional restrictions include the cancellation of upcoming camper events and the closure of play structures and basketball/volleyball courts. They’ll reassess the risk as the season goes on and may lift some of the restrictions.
The bathrooms will be opened with increased cleaning but officials want campers to use washroom facilities in their trailers to help decrease the risk of spreading the virus.
