Footprints in the snow lead to arrest in Dawn-Euphemia

Lambton OPP on patrol in Dawn-Euphemia followed footprints in the snow to find two people inside a vacant house.
OPP were on patrol on Cairo Road around 1:30 am Tuesday when they found a vehicle parked on the side of the road.
They followed the footprints in the snow to a nearby vacant house where they could see the home had been broken into.
Police found two people inside.
Kyle Lockyer, 31, of Dawn-Euphemia and Heidi DeHoog, 40, of Bothwell have been charged with break and enter, possession of break in tools, possession of stolen property, possession of a prohibited drug – methamphetamine.
The pair will be in court March 8.
