A 24 year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested after a Saturday night incident in Corunna.

The woman was taken into custody by OPP officers after they were called to an establishment where an event was being held. OPP say the woman was being unruly with a staff member. When a security guard came to intervene it’s alleged the woman assaulted them.

The security guard was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The woman was identified by witnesses at the scene and arrested shortly before midnight July 31.

The woman was released and will make her first court appearance Oct. 4, 2021.

One charged in crash which killed six year old from Walpole Island
