Suspicious package at Nova investigated

Members of the OPP’s Explosive Disposal Unit and the Canine Explosive Detection dog, Celaena, were called in to sniff out a suspicious package at Nova Chemical’s.
Around 10:45 yesterday Lambton OPP and the St. Clair Township fire department were called to the plant on Petrolia Line after a suspicious package was found. The company had already taken precautions before the officers arrived.
The Explosive Unit and Celaena were called in to get a look at the package and by late in the afternoon they found the package posed no danger.
