One of two people killed in Lambton identified

Coroner, Forensic Services still trying to ID body found near Oil Springs

Lambton OPP are looking for anyone who might have talked to one of two people killed in Lambton five days ago.

In a late night news release, Lambton OPP say they’ve identified the body found in a Sarina home. Police were first called to Crooked Road, near the Oil Museum of Canada, in Oil Springs Dec. 28 around 2:30 pm where they found human remains.

A little over an hour later, Sarnia police found another body in a home on Watson Street.

Police say the victim found in Sarnia was Lance Richardson, 31, of Mississauga, Ontario.

Police are still working with the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Services to positively identify the person found dead near Oil Springs.

Police would like to speak with anyone who had talked to Richardson in the days leading up to his death.
