Nine years after Jeannette Douglas’ daughter suggested offering a community meal at Christmas, the tradition continues today. And it has branched off into monthly meals. Over Christmas and Boxing Day, Douglas and her family prepare a turkey dinner at Guthrie Presbyterian Church.
