Agar next mayor of St. Clair

Jeff Agar is the new mayor of St. Clair Township.

He beat current councillor Tracy Kingston for the position vacated in the retirement of Steve Arnold. Agar won with 50 per cent of the vote.

Conservation camping rates rise again

The Independent The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority is raising its rates for camping again. People with seasonal campsites across at SCRCA campgrounds such as Lorne C Henderson in Petrolia and Warwick Conservation Area will see a 10 per cent increase in their 2026 fees. That means a serviced lot will rise from $3,080 a year to $3,380 a year.

Food banks benefit from St. Clair tourney
