Heat warning issued for Wednesday and Thursday
Runners from LCCVI cracked the top 25 at the provincial high school cross country championships in Uxbridge on Saturday.
Charlie Shaw was 18th in the senior boys’ race and James Grant was 24th in the novice boys’ competition.
Shaw finished his 6K race in a time of 20:47.70. Grant’s time over his 4K course3 was 15:05.59.
To qualify. Grant was second in the novice boys’ race at the SWOSSA event at Malden Park in Windsor and Shaw finished third in the senior boys’ competition.
