The Independent among top newspapers in Canada
The Petrolia Squires rallied from a 5-2 third period deficit to force overtime and defeat previously unbeaten Seaforth, 6-5 in WOAA senior “AA” hockey on Saturday.
Kraig Wright had the game-winner in extra time.
Kole Keating scored twice for Petrolia who are now 3-0 on the road this season and 5-2 overall. Zach VanEyk, Brandon Merritt and Curtis Helps had the other Squire goals.
The same two teams will play this Friday night at Greenwood. Puck drop is 8:30.
