Douglas powers LCCVI to fifth straight win

Roen Douglas had three goals and three assists to lead LCCVI to an 11-1 win over St. Pats in LKSSAA boys’ high Wednesday in Petrolia.

The Lancers, who scored five goals in each of the first and third periods, are now 5-0 on the season. The Irish is 1-4.

Brayden Kominek added a goal and two assists with Jack Morningstar, Rhett Joy and Ryan Minten each contributed a goal and a helper. Nate Perry, Shane Knight, Parker Davidson and Casyn Fisher also scored for LCCVI. Reed King had two assists.

Luke Laevens replied for the Irish.

St. Pats’ next game is against North Lambton next Monday. LCCVI skates against Northern next Wednesday at Clearwater Arena.
