Power outage at Aberarder: kids returning home

Students who made their way to Aberarder Central School in Plympton-Wyoming are headed home.

Lambton-Kent District School Board says the power is out this morning and isn’t expected to be restored for a while.

School buses in the school zone were cancelled due to inclement weather and road conditions. The school is contacting parents/guardians of any students in attendance.

It is expected that Aberarder Central School will be open to students on Tuesday. Due to the temporary power outage, the phone lines at the school are currently unavailable. If parents/guardians need to contact the school, please reach out to the Lambton Kent District School Board at 519-336-1500.
