Only the hardiest remain at Rainbow Park say Sarnia officials
Fresh off their gold medal performances at the recent provincial ringette championships in Mississauga, the Forest Xtreme U16 and U19 teams will now take their talents to the Maritimes.
The Forest squads will represent Ontario at the Eastern Canadian Ringette Championships in New Brunswick from April 20-23.
“We had some unique challenges this year and our players worked hard and really focused on their goal of earning a gold medal at Provincials, “ said U19s head coach Tanya McKinlay.
“To achieve Team Ontario representation really reflects our love of the sport and our determination to be the best we can possibly be.”
Meantime, U16 head coach Adam McKinlay said his team has been strong and determined all season long including some challenging games to take top spot at provincials.
