LCCVI celebrates the Class of 2026
Arkona credit union robbed

Lambton OPP are on the scene of a bank robbery in Arkona.
Around 5:30 pm Tuesday, police were called to the Libro Credit Union branch on Arkona Road. Three OPP Cruisers and one Anishinabek Police Services cruiser from Kettle & Stony Point and OPP detectives are on the scene now.
Details of what happened are still scant but it appears no one was injured in the incident.
A description of the suspect hasn’t been made available yet however sources say the person involved may have made off with some of the staff’s cellphones.
