LCCVI’s Marlowe Robinson has qualified for the Canadian Junior Weightlifting Championships by virtue of her performance at the Spring Open
event in Scarborough on the weekend.
The member of the Garage Gym Weightlifting Club in Point Edward was second in her 55 kilo weight class with a 58 kg. snatch and 73 kg. clean and jerk for a 131 kg. total.
The national event will be held in Montreal in early June.
