Jackson Sanders was holding on tight to the Jack Black Memorial Award for the all around best Novice player at the East Lambton Minor Hockey banquet Saturday.

Minor hockey President Adam McKellar presented awards to dozens of players who worked hard this season.

The Eagles U13 Rep team was also recognized for claiming the Red Caps during the OMHA finals. Under 13 Rep team won the Ontario Minor Hockey Tier 2 Championship this season defeating the South Huron Sabres. Team members were seen wearing their red hats at the East Lambton Minor Hockey banquet on April 22

Tucker McGugan received the Most Valuable Player Award. McGugan amassed 237 points during the season, scoring 4.5 points per game. He was a member of the Under 13 Rep team. East Lambton Minor Hockey President Adam McKellar presents him with the award.

Travis Duncan received the Coach of the Year Award at the East Lambton Minor Hockey Association banquet. He is presented with his award by Sammie Letkeman, who played on Duncan’s team, Under 13 White squad. The team had a roster of 12, with six girls and six boys. The girls wanted to play on the team together and Duncan was open to the idea.

The most dedicated player in the East Lambton Minor Hockey system was recognized as Ryan McLaughlin. He is presented with the award by Derik Holmes.

Travis Holmes took home the Roy Bass Memorial Award for the Most Valuable Defenseman. He is given the award by Brad McKenzie.
