Homes sales in Lambton are picking up as the warm weather arrives.
The Sarnia-Lambton Real Estate Board says 147 homes were sold in April – nine per cent more than the same time last year – and they were not staying on the market very long. It’s taking an average of about 20 days for most homes to sell.
Single family homes sold for an average of just over $590,000 in April. The median price for 2023 is about $470,000.
Ninety-nine per cent of the homes sold at list price and there were 300 homes on the market in April.
The total real estate sales over April topped $84.4 million.
