October 27, 2023
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 216 President Robert White pins the first poppy on Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey Friday morning in Petrolia. The annual Poppy Campaign leading up to Remembrance Day began with the brief ceremony of providing the marker of Remembrance to community leaders including Bailey, Wyoming Legion Branch President Connor Weed, Lambton County Warden, Enniskillen Mayor Kevin Marriott and Petrolia Acting Mayor Joel Field. Poppies can be found in a number of local businesses where a donation can be made to support Canadian veterans.
