OPP investigate fatal crash south of Petrolia

Lambton OPP are investigating after a gravel truck hit a car on Marthaville Road.

Const. Jamie Bydeley says the collision occurred at Marthaville Road and Courtright Line around 11:40 am Friday. He said there was a fatality but did not give more details on the scene.

Witnesses say it appeared the truck was on top of the vehicle.

Marthaville was closed at the Shiloh, Courtright and Oil Springs Line intersections as police investigated.
