Taxandria has crept to with two points of second place Sarnia FC with a game in hand in the second division of the Western Ontario Soccer League.
Ard Dieker and Thomas Kingma scored on the weekend for the Arkona-based squad in a 2-1 win over Sarnia FC. Liam Burwell had the lone goal for FC.
Sarnia has hit a rough patch of its season with just one win and two scoreless draws in its last seven matches.
