Lambton OPP now say there have been two thefts from change machines in Petrolia. On July 31, OPP reported a man with a small build, dark brown and white goatee and carrying a backpack, damaged the change machine at Aqua Shine and then took money from the machine on July 24. Lambton OPP is warning people about a fraudulent text messages. Police say they have had “ongoing reports” of texts claiming that your vehicle was “captured on a Service Ontario speed camera” and urging you to click a link to view or pay a fine. Police say it is a scam and warn people not to click any links. OPP say

Wyoming flavour at national baseball tournament A half dozen players with roots in Wyoming will suit up the Sarnia Brigade at the national 22u baseball championship this weekend in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The group includes Jack Helps, Tyler Kerby, Kaden Gray, Caden Turnbull, Reid King and Cole Hudson. Sarnia opens the tournament against Manitoba on Thursday morning. ••• Noah Myers
