ROADS TO RECOVERY: Grateful to be told she was an addict

Service Canada to visit Lambton libraries
January 6, 2025
The Independent
It will be easier for people in rural Lambton to get federal government services.
Lambton County is partnering with Service Canada to provide clinics at libraries in Alvinston, Corunna, Forest, Thedford and Watford in the first week of January and February.
The representatives will be able to help people with applications for benefits such as Employment Insurance, Social Insurance Numbers, personal access codes for My Service Canada Accounts, CPP, Old Age Security, and the new dental care plan.
The service will be on a first-come, first served basis and you’ll need a government photo identification and your SIN number.
The library clinics will be set up Jan. 6 in Alvinston at 1:30 to 2:30 pm and Watford from 3 pm to 4:30 pm. Jan. 8, the clinic will be in Forest from 10:30 to 12:30 pm. Jan. 9, it visits Corunna from 10:30 to 12:30 pm and Wyoming from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Jan. 10, it will be in Thedford from 4 to 6 pm.
