Three charged after Lambton OPP seize fentanyl, meth in Thamesville

Three people from Wallaceburg face drug charges after Lambton OPP stopped a car in Thamesville.

Members of the Lambton OPP Community Street Crime Unit stopped a vehicle on Victoria Road in Thamesville Jan. 2 as part of an ongoing drug investigation. Police seized fentanyl methamphetamine, and carfentanyl with a street value of about $27,700.

Tracy Bechard, 39, Christopher Crosby, 33, and Emily Campbell, 37, all of Wallaceburg have been charged with two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking in both fentanyl and methamphetamine.

Bechard was held in custody for a bail hearing Friday. Crosby and Campbell were released and will appear in Chatham court Feb. 13.
