Feasey leads Killer Bees to first round playoff sweep

Brennan Feasey y had three goals and four assists in a 12-8 Alvinston Killer Bees win at Dunnville on Saturday to complete a four-game sweep of the Aeros in the first round of the Ontario Super Hockey League playoffs.

Feasey has 10 goals and 15 points in the four game series.

The Bees outscored Dunnville, 36-16 in the sweep.

Jamie Schaafsma had two goals and two assists for the winners while Ethan Lamoureux scored twice and added an assist. Jacob Chantler scored and added four helpers for the Bees and James McEwan had a goal and three assists.

Ross Krieger, Jayden Lammel and Grant Spence also scored for Alvinston.

The Bees broke open a one-goal game with five unanswered goals early in the second period.

Nolan Dekoning made 38 saves for the win between the pipes.

It was Alvinston’s sixth straight win dating back to the end of the regular season.

The Bees will play the lowest seed of the first round series winners in the divisional semi-finals.
